The latest upgrade to
Lambda Predict (2.0.1
or higher) includes significant enhancements to the software's
features and functionality. This includes:
Derating
Analysis
To assure reliability, equipment must be
designed to endure stress over time without failure. In addition,
design stress parameters must be identified and controlled and parts
and materials that can withstand these stresses must be selected. Derating is the selection and application of parts and materials so
that the applied stress is less than rated for a specific
application.
Lambda Predict allows you to apply a derating standard to your MIL-217, Bellcore or RDF 2000 system. The
available published derating standards are:
You can also create your own
user-defined derating standard.
Once a system has been derated using a published standard or a
user-defined standard, you can then
view plots and create reports of the derating results.

Library
Browse Window
The new Library Browse window allows you to browse for specific
components in libraries and add them to your Lambda Predict
analyses. This utility allows you to filter the components in one or
more libraries by Category, Part Number and/or Description so that
you can easily find the pre-defined component that will be imported
into your current analysis.

Using Grid
Templates to Configure the Workspace and Create Customized "Report"
Output
Lambda Predict's Grid
View presents the analysis data in a tabular format that can be
configured to meet your specific preferences for viewing the
analysis and also printing or exporting the data to Excel. With
Version 2, the software now allows you to create and manage "Grid
View Templates" that can be used to automatically configure the grid
to fit your saved preferences. You can configure the visual
appearance of the grid display (font styles, column widths, etc.) as
well as the way that the data is filtered and sorted.
